Hall County will be hosting a tire recycling event for all Grand Island and Hall County residents. The event will be held at the Hall County Weed Control building, 2807 West Second St. on Saturday, July 25th from 8 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This event was made possible by a grant from the Nebraska Department of Environment & Energy. For more information you may call their office at 308/385-5126.
On Saturday, June 13, 2020, 8:00 am – Noon, Clean Community System will be accepting electronics at our office on Sky Park Road. Our main focus will be older TV’s including tube, projection, and console. We will also accept newer TV’s (flat panel), computer monitors, towers, keyboards, CD players, gaming devices, lap tops, phones, modems; radios, power network cables, and VCR’s/DVD players.
This service is available thanks in part to a grant received from Nebraska Recycling Council and Nebraska Environmental Trust; however, we will be limiting the number of TV’s to two (2) that can be accepted this day. Please do not bring any more. We hope the general public utilizes this FREE service. No early drop offs will be taken. This is a 4 hour only event. Donations are always appreciated.
