Prescription Medication Take Back Event

Super Saver and the Hall County Sherriff’s Department will host a Prescription Medication Take Back Event on Saturday, October 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Super Saver 1602 W 2nd Street in Grand Island.

Clean out your medicine cabinets. Bring your unused and/or expired medication.

Medication lockboxes and medicine disposal packets will be available while supplies last

“No Charge” Tube TV Recycling Event October 4th, 2025

If you have an older tube or projection TV and want to dispose of it in a safe manner, here’s your chance to “get it done” right. Saturday October 4th, 2025 from 9:00 am to noon (or until they reach maximum poundage) Clean Community System will host an electronic recycling event to mainly get those older TV’s recycled.  Items that we accept every day including computer monitors, keyboards, monitors, printers, laptops, tablets, cell phones, gaming devices, and newer flat panel TV’s will also be accepted during this event – there are no early drop-offs.  This event is available due to a grant received from Nebraska Environmental Trust.  Just south of the Central Nebraska Regional Airport.

 

2023-2024 Holiday Closings

We will be closed on Friday December 22nd, 2023 and Monday December 25th, 2023 for the Christmas Holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday December 26th, 2023 AT 8:00 AM.

We will be closed at noon on Friday December 29th, 2023 and we will be closed on Monday January 1st, 2024 for the New Year. We will reopen on Tuesday January 2nd, 2024 at 8:00 AM.

We will be closed Friday 8/21/2026 from 8:00 AM-10:00 AM. We will be out doing a roadside clean-up for the 2026 City Wide Clean-up.
