Choose a target directory
The screen saver file will copy from our computer to your hard drive into a directory you choose. The download procedure will ask you to select a target directory. We suggest you use a directory that has been set up for temporary files (for example: c:\temp or c:\windows\temp)

  • If you already have a directory like this, go to the next step.
  • If you don't have a directory like this, create one. Open My Computer. Double click on the drive you want  to insert the directory (probably C). Right click in any open space in the window and choose New from the  menu. Then choose Folder. Name the folder TEMP. Close all windows.
Download procedure
When you are ready to download (copy to your computer), put your cursor over the link for the
recycling screensaver. It should turn into a pointing finger. With the cursor over the link, click the mouse. You should see a dialog box appear. Choose "Save this file to disk". Under "Save in", choose the target directory that you decided to use. Click on "Save". A new dialog box will open showing the progress of the copy. When it is done, go to the next step.

Installation
After the download is complete, you will need to install it to make this program run on your computer.

  • Open My Computer
  • Locate the target directory (probably c:/temp)
  • The name of the file is recycle1.zip. Find it in the target directory and double click on it.
  • If you receive the "Open with" directory (asking how to open the file), you cannot run this screensaver without some help from a computer friend.
  • Otherwise, a program will open to unzip the file. Let the unzip program do its thing in your target directory.
  • Locate the setup.exe file and double click on it.
  • Follow the instructions on your screen.
